Physio treatments have been a particularly important element of our practice since we first opened the Edgbaston Birmingham venue.
The Guildhall Practice is a multi-disciplinary practice, offering physiotherapy, osteopathy as well as sports massage therapy.
Initially we began with the Birmingham city centre practice and subsequently expanded into Kings Heath and Edgbaston.
We are excited about celebrating our 30th anniversary next year and also particularly proud that our combined clinical practice experience is now over 60 years !
The Guildhall Practice is widely regarded as the number one choice for physical therapy in Birmingham.
97% of patients; after their first treatment gave 10/10 when asked:
“How likely are you to recommend a close friend or family member?”
Firstly, your physio in Edgbaston, Birmingham will take a detailed history from you. In order to understand the possible cause and the effects of your injury.
Following the case history your physio may conduct further medical, orthopaedic or neurological tests.
Finally, they will give you advice as to the proposed treatment, as well as an indication as to how long it might take to improve.
Often they will give you advice with regards to your posture and especially your work station.
Physiotherapy is a hands-on physical therapy, often involving soft tissue massage as well as stretching techniques.
Therefore, we ask patients to remove some of their clothing during the examination and treatment.
You may choose bring a pair of shorts and a t-shirt to change into before your assessment, in order for you feel more comfortable.
