The Guildhall Practice in Kings Heath is one of the three practices that we have opened in Birmingham.

Andrew Leask, an Osteopath established the Guildhall Practice in Kings Heath Birmingham over twenty five years ago. The practice has expanded over time to include a number of other allied therapies. However, the original holistic approach to healthcare is the bed-rock of our collective philosophy.

As Osteopaths we consider the body as an integrated whole, therefore, we will always consider the effect that other areas might be having upon the painful region. Importantly, we try to find the core of the problem and do not simply treat the symptoms. 

Our osteopathic training taught us to search more widely for issues that may be influencing, aggravating, or might have even originally caused the injury. Undoubtedly, this approach is largely what separates Osteopaths from most other physical therapists.

The Guildhall Practice has become highly regarded both locally and nationally for our work within sport and the performing arts.

Previously Andrew Leask worked within the Perform centre, treating professional footballers, at St. George’s Park, home to the England F.A.

Furthermore we are proud to have worked very closely for many years with the dancers from Birmingham Royal Ballet.

For over twenty years we have worked with The Birmingham Repertory Theatre, providing them with support throughout the rehearsal periods through to managing injuries acquired whilst performing.
