Physio Treatment
Firstly, your physiotherapist in Edgbaston Birmingham will guide you through an assessment, including your past medical history and your current general health.
They will then evaluate what influence other factors, including your occupation and recreational lifestyle is having on your injury.
Please bring along any information you may have relating to medication, the results of clinical tests and also scans or x-rays that you have had. Importantly this will help your therapist in formulating their diagnosis.
The physiotherapy consultation and the treatment process will last between 45 minutes and an hour.
It is always our intention to assess, diagnose and also commence treatment within this initial consultation.
Therefore, in most cases we will commence treatment immediately. This normally takes the form of soft tissue massage, articulation, stretches and manipulation.
However, we are a patient-centred practice and so every treatment is structured to meet your individual needs.

We offer a very wide variety of appointment times.
On most days the practice opens at 7.30 AM, and on at least two evenings each week practice remains open until 7.30 PM too.
